Desktop spec advice needed

Hi,

I really need some advice on the spec I need for a new desktop. I use my computer for graphics, illustrations and fine art work utilising a number of resource heavy programs for scanning and digitising my original artwork including Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop and Corel Painter as well as many others.

It is quite a while since I had a new pc and I am not up to date with the info on the latest CPU's, motherboards and graphic cards etc. I would like a Ryzen CPU as it needs to be fast and at least 32gb of ram with the ability to increase to 64gb if necessary a good Graphics card and I also need to be able to continue using my XP-Pen drawing monitor, it would also be good if it had a DVD writer and card reader. I am not bothered about having led lights etc.

Please keep your answers as straightforward as possible, as I not a technician and not exactly a youngster.

I would be very grateful for any advice your could give me with regard to what hardware I need. Oh, and it would need to be quiet.

I would highly recommend switching the CPU to a AMD Ryzen 9 5900X, excellent power with a very reasonable price and quite a step up from Ryzen 7 5700G.
