Disable RGB lights for a PC noob

I'm very new to the world of PC gaming and love my new PC

PCSPECIALIST Vortex G30 Gaming PC - Intel® Core™ i3, GTX 1650, 512 GB SSD​

The lights are really painful to be around for long periods of time and I need to find out how to turn them off. I saw on this website you can use an app called iCUE however I can't seem to find my computer lights on there. Is there something else I can do? perhaps a cable I can unplug? I just want the lights to be turned off completely. Some computers have a button that can be pressed on the case to disable the lights but i found out the hard way that its a system reset button haha.

Those fans/lights will probably be connected to the motherboard rather than an iCUE controller, and so will only be controllable via the motherboard software...which may be Asus Aura/Armory Crate...and can sometimes be changed/disabled by a button on the case.

However, if you simply want them off, and you have an Asus motherboard, then there's usually some options in the BIOS to disable them completely. It's difficult to provide exact instructions as we don't know exactly what motherboard or fans that build uses...but here's some generic ones that I've used on my Asus X570 bios...

Go into the BIOS...

...then [Advanced Mode]...(you may also be able to get to this by pressing F4 or clicking [AURA] if it appears on the top of your BIOS screen, so try that first):

...then down to [Onboard Devices Configuration]...

...and finally down to the [LED Lighting] section...

Exit and save.

The 4 options available are usually:

I am not sure if its the quality of the picture or not, but the back looks quite dusty so you may want to consider a quick clean whilst you have it pulled out

Yes you're right it is overdue a dusting, that'll be a job for the weekend

If your system is the same as mine you can simply open bios on startup. It’s hidden somewhere is advanced settings “LED’s in case” just toggle it off and you should be good

This is exactly why I asked for him to start his own thread with HIS system spec so we know exactly what we are dealing with, and to make sure it's a PC specialist system
