DNS Flush bricked PC? O_o

I know, sounds mad, but I can't think what else it would be!
My PC no longer boots, no idea why. Can't even get it to go into safe mode. The auto repair activates but is always unsuccessful. I've tried a system restore and still have the same issue (Restore point was 5 days before this incident occurred).
The last thing I did before a reset was to run a command prompt ipconfig /flushdns as I was having some crazy browser issues. But I don't know how this can lead to hardware failure.
I can get into the BIOS that's about it. Every attempt at self diagnosis/repair just resets the machine. Then I'm back to square one "Your PC did not start correctly".
Please help, I don't want to do a fresh windows install, but its looking like that's my last resort!

Is this a PCSpecialist machine? Can you post your full specs from the order page?

Can you see the boot drive in the BIOS? Have you tried startup repair in the Windows install media?

Also try a chkdsk /f on your boot drive from the install media. (But be prepared for possible data loss - it's unlikely but possible).

BTW. I'm quite certain that it wasn't the flushdns that caused this.

Hey guys thanks for swift replies.
Yes it is a PC Specialist machine. Specs Below.
The BIOS has the ssd showing in boot options and that's it, (previously had some network options too). I didn't get installation media with the purchase.

Edit: Startup repair get stuck in a loop! Tried 6 times over to be sure.

You can create a windows bootable USB and do startup repair from it:

Re-Installing windows appears to have done the trick. I am missing a lot of data and programmes but everything is recoverable. Also appears the browser issues I was having before have disappeared >.>

Thanks for the assist!!!!

Sounds like driver issues to me. I use to have BSOD's and getting stuck on the black Windows loading animation.
Ended up being my USB 3 drivers of all things.

Fresh install is always a good idea. If you ever run into similar issues, unplug every usb attached to your computer except the keyboard, rinse your drivers and see if that fixes it without having to resort to a fresh install.

Fresh install of Windows 10 worked, funny thing is i managed to install from the net. I think there may have been a problem with the network card drivers and some how the dns flush messed everything up.
Anyway I'm now getting even faster Internet through to the pc than I was before .

Thanks for the assistance
