Do these specs look ok?

Hello!

I last bought a pc from here about 8 years ago! A lot of my hardware is out of date, and the CMD battery is dying so I thought I'd treat myself a new pc!
What I'm using it for: gaming! Im hoping to have my new setup last as long as this has
Spending limit: £1600 max, I have recently bought a new SSD that has my current pc on, so Im hoping I can just plug that bad boy in and go! I'm aware that the pc has to come with SSD of some kind.
Monitors: I'm using two BENQ GW2780 i believe they run at 80khz? going from the amazon listing.

As an aside, i have about 5 quotes saved because I'm indecisive, but this is the one I like the most. I like ARGB but if theres something better I'm happy to change it up!

I'd reconfigure how you're spending significantly. Get a new display. That's really not a display suitable for gaming. You can afford 1440p 144Hz, which is a massive upgrade. You might spend £300 on a decent one. That leaves around £1300 for the PC itself. I'm assuming you have a good SSD, but a precise description (manufacturer, model, size) would be helpful too.

Case
LIAN LI LANCOOL 215 GAMING CASE PCS stocks no good white cases. If you want one, you'll need to do "send in your own case"
Processor (CPU)

AMD Ryzen 7 5700X Eight Core CPU (3.4GHz-4.6GHz/36MB CACHE/AM4) Good gaming option
Motherboard

ASUS® ROG STRIX B550-F GAMING (DDR4, USB 3.2, 6Gb/s) - ARGB Ready! Excellent motherboard
Memory (RAM)

16GB Corsair VENGEANCE DDR4 3200MHz (2 x 8GB) Plenty for gaming (and you want dual-channel)
Graphics Card

12GB AMD RADEON™ RX 6750 XT - HDMI, DP - DX® 12 A really good 1440p graphics card, much better than the 2070S
1st M.2 SSD Drive

1TB SOLIDIGM P41+ GEN 4 M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD (up to 4125MB/sR, 2950MB/sW) I assume your other drive is your boot drive; this is for games
Power Supply

CORSAIR 1000W RMx SERIES™ - MODULAR 80 PLUS GOLD, ULTRA QUIET Quality and capacity for now and future upgrades
Power Cable

1 x 1.5 Metre UK Power Cable (Kettle Lead, 1.0mm Core)
Processor Cooling
CoolerMaster Hyper 212 (120mm) Fan CPU Cooler Black Edition Good enough for the 5700X
Thermal Paste

You will have to reinstall windows on this, as the version of windows on it wont be configured for your new hardware

The ssd i have is a Crucial MX500 2tb, my partner at the time suggested I get that so I'm not sure if its the best, but i bought it in Aug 2022 so its not a year old yet.

I also wasnt aware I'd have to reinstall windows.. would I need to buy another copy of windows?

OK, so you don't really want to be running Windows off that drive. It's halfway decent, but not amazing. If you get something like a Samsung 980 Pro, it will be literally 10x faster peak speeds. It won't be that much in most real world situations, but it will be a substantial upgrade. Your drive would be an OK (albeit not amazing) games drive. So you'd want to be reinstalling Windows on that drive anyway. And no, you will not need to buy a new copy: you'll be able to transfer the Windows licence from the old machine.

Here's what I'd recommend for you:

500GB SAMSUNG 980 PRO M.2, PCIe NVMe (up to 6900MB/R, 5000MB/W) To be your new boot drive with your existing drive for games

Thank you for all your help!
This is going to be my first time setting up a boot drive/storage bit, is there any guide you'd recommend for doing so?
Is it easier for me to back up the information I have and wipe my current ssd so the copies of windows dont get confused and then reinstall it on the boot drive?

Back up your data first as the below will completely wipe the drive before it installs windows, also give this a read as it explains how to transfer the license

clean install instructions for w11

Download a new copy of Windows using the Media Creation Tool (Second option on linked page) to an 8GB (min) USB.
Boot that USB and choose a Custom Install.
Delete all UEFI partitions on the system drive (EFI System, Recovery, MSR Reserved, Primary).
Select the unallocated space that results and click the Next button. The installer will create the correct partitions and install Windows.
Run Windows Update repeatedly, even across reboots, until no more updates are found.
You may need/want to download and install the latest graphics driver from the Nvidia/AMD website (they change so regularly the latest version isn't always in the Windows libraries).

This is also worth a watch
