does the PSU work for this ?

Any further advice upopn the below build greatly appreciated, unsure about power supply and cooling.

If I've entered your build correctly this is coming in around £1520, in which case it's time for me to suggest the Inferno L2 again :D

It's a review build so you can't change the internals, but there's a big discount on it that brings it down to the same price range as your build despite having a very tasty CPU/GPU pairing.

As an added bonus it's even in the same case you wanted to use!

1400 quid ain't bad at all for that spec!

Even has a 4000 series capable board when they get dropped...

So don't need another machine......

Thanks for the advice was looking last night at a change,

How does this look, again my main concern is the PSU capable of running this rig?

thanks but have never used intel graphic cards have always kept builds to AMD graphic cards too, so probably going to stick with Build but also have tweeked it from Ryzen 5 to 7 CPU. what would your thoughts be, though am concerned if the PSU is adequate (power wise)

thanks again.

The PSU is fine..to a point. If your budget allows it, I would suggest upgrading to the 550W TmX PSU....it is quieter, more effiicient and has less wiring to interrupt the airflow through the case (not to mention that the inside of the case will look so much tidier with it). Have a look at the review of my system...if you look at the second picture, you will see the wiring difference between a CV PSU (the left picture) and a TxM (the right pitcure). They aren't identical as the older system (left) has more wirse due to extra drives etc (not to mention the builders weren't fussed about cable management) but it gives you an idea.

CV vs TxM PSUs
thanks will take on board and have changed to your suggestion.

Gpu = 225w
Cpu = 150w
Vrm board = 14w
Ancilary usb/lights/drives/etc = 30w (peak all usb used)

Total = 419w

So technically in spec, but very little headroom for upgrades, and power supplies run warmer the closer they are to peak limits.

Oh meant to say, the peak number psu suppliers use is just that peak, and not designed to run close to it for any length of time, just thought I'd say.
