DRAM profile mixing message on iCUE

Some help please! In the last few days I started seeing this message on iCue. I have not made any changes to my set up, none whatsoever. Can someone please advise whether this is something that can just happen without my involvement, or perhaps iCue *thinks* this is the case mistakenly? What can I do to check and, if necessary, rectify this?

Many thanks. Any help is appreciated!

Here is my setup

Hi there. I've had this message and a bit of googling suggested that it is an issue with icue, not your PC.
Not being particulalrly knowledgable i don't know if it is impacting performance so, as i haven't noticed any difference in games, i'm currently working on the assumption that they will fix it in an update.
I will be keeping an eye on this thread to see if any of the kit wizards that hang out here offer anything more insightful.

Thanks for the input. It puts my mind to rest as I thought something went wrong. The funny thing is I never had this mnessage before, it only started a few days ago, and I do not know how to check what profiles my DRAM actually run. I know Google says this can be seen on BIOS, but I would know know where to start, hence my message here. Let's hope some of the more knowledgeable members here can shed some light.

Just to confirm what @smallkube has said, yes, this is quite a common bug in iCue

I don't think there's currently a workaround that I'm aware of, but @smallkube is completely correct, it won't affect system performance in any way, it's simply a false error message

There is an official post from Corsair on it here: https://help.corsair.com/hc/en-us/a...essage-for-Hybrid-CORSAIR-memory-kits-in-iCUE but this warning popping up seems to be quite new (June / July) where previously it wasn't there and definitely affecting people who don't have hybrid sticks so I think they need to work on something to sort it out for the masses

Thanks a lot! I was working away from home since mid July, and only returned home at the beginning of September to be greeted by this...

Only just seen that ‘performance’ tab…but noticed it offers a second profile of 6600 32-39-39-76 vs the standard profile of 6400 40-40-40-77

I think I’ll lave it alone 😁

Yeah, I’m not to certain I’d trust iCue to write to the BIOS in that way!!!

I am not sure what you are refering to. Is it my screenshot?

I was referring to the mention of a 'Performance Manager tab' in your pop-up warning...as I'd not had the pop-up (yet) and didn't even know there was such a tab (y)

...and as mentioned previously, you won't be able to get into that option if the system is using mixed or the new hybrid DRAM, and as I'm not into overclocking I see no need for me to 'mess' with something that's working fine 🤞
