So.

Joy to the world, my PC has arrived.
Horror to all mankind, it has arrived in a dirty, wet, damaged box with a ripped plastic bin bag over it...
Did I say wet? It was wet underneath that bin bag.
Dunno what has happened to it since Thursday at the Courier's, but it looks like it has been left out in the rain after a good kicking.
MY BABY!! Haven't even taken it out of the box yet as I'm a bit scared. :O

I would phone PCS now before you go any further. That is a disgrace and PCS need to know.

In normal times I may have, but wasn't sure what to do for the best as I have been waiting for it since 28th October.

Didn't know what rejecting it would do. Would it mean I went back to the beginning on the Strix3080 queue? Because I don't think I could bear to wait another 5+ months for another one...

I can do that, they at least need to know what happens to their finished products after all their build efforts.
I have loads of pics of it coming off the wagon in that state and the water underneath the ripped plastic cover.

Is it the same phone number as the general number for that and do they have an email to send them the pics?

No, it would have been returned to PCS and they would have treated it as an RMA and checked it over thoroughly and if it were deemed compromised in anyway they would build a replacement immediately, you wouldn't join another queue.

PCS should really work on labelling their products to avoid couriers storing them outside and throwing them around like garden furniture. This feedback needs sending to them ASAP to avoid this happening again.
Palletways or any courier company sent a product on a pallet can and will store it outside. this has clearly been left outside and is not packaged in a suitable enough manner to be left outside. i would not accept this parcel and at a bare minimum would have it sent back to PCS to have a thorough quality assurance check to ensure none of your internal circuitry is damaged.

as spydertracks said, this will be filed as a returned order and you will receive the correct customer service to ensure you get what you paid for.

Ahhh ok. If I had known that then I probably would have. Trying to call PCS now to find out what best to do next.

does anyone know if you can drive and collect your own PC directly from PCS? i live in manchester and would honestly rather collect it myself after seeing these horrific photos.

don't worry, they will contact dpd or another local courier and give you info to post on your box etc to get it sent back to them, what i would do in the mean time is try and find something to safely and adequately store this in for transit back to PCS. if it is possible to keep the pallet and ensure it can be firmly tied back to this to avoid it being further damaged in return and traceable for their receipt.

This is just utter nonsense, Palletways would not store an order outside in normal circumstances, you're paying for warehouse protection:
