Hi

I am trying to find all of the drivers and software for a Recoil II laptop.

I have registered on the site, but no drivers appear, possibly because the order was from another account originally.

You have to log into the main PCS website with the account you ordered with.

Did you buy this laptop second hand, if so you need to get the warranty transferred to you by the original owner as desribed in the link below, then you'll get access to the drivers

So it looks like i would need the person who actually did the order to do the transfer, thats not really possible for me.
Is there any other option? Or is it tough?

Unfortunately it's the way a lot of manufacturers are going these days, clevo are one of the few remaining ones that keep their drivers completely public, but even they have now removed things like manuals.

Not really too sure why, I hope it's not the way they all go.

Yeah... removing manuals is a PITA.. especially as they seem harder to get into than they used to be.

At this rate we may as well all be using Apple "appliances" .. suppliers just don't seem to focus on enthusiast even though they are the early adopters.

Hi there,
I have the same problem here. Is there someone awesome who has the same laptop and could upload some of the software into cloud.
I mean it's sounds like a hassle but PCS doesn't make it easier either. It's a brilliant machine but on mine I can't control fans, keyboard's RGB and sound blaster isn't working.
I came across other manufacturers and they had and still have drivers and other relevant software available on their website. Take for example Toshiba, they stopped manufacturing laptops long ago but you can still get the stuff of their website.

If it’s a PCSPECIALIST machine, then all drivers will be in your PCS account.

If not, you need the system integrator who built it for you. SI’s are the only ones who have the drivers, as stated above there is no public repository.

Personally I'd be extremely wary of using any driver uploaded by someone I don't know into the cloud somewhere......
