Evening
I'm hoping to purchase a 17" laptop primarily for editing and secondarily for gaming. I don't anticipate the laptop being used super frequently/intensely, therefore I'm not too fussed about this build needing to be super powerful/extremely quick in a given moment. Just capable enough for a game like CSGO and relatively lightweight editing for the next 6-18 months before purchasing a new desktop PC.
Mainly looking for advice on any massive concerns others have or aware of around the components/build below, and to see if it's worth waiting until better components or configurations come available.
I'm pretty set on a 17" screen and leaning towards Ionico due to slimness. If the Elimina's aren't much different and I can save a few £hundred from the overall cost that would be useful to know.
I basically want to either order a laptop tomorrow to receive within the next 2 weeks (it's not critical), or delay and purchase later on in September or beyond.
Thanks for any advice you can offer.
Dan
