Post the full spec as described below, any reason you went with Intel, AMD is a lot better

The below is £909.00, would like to keep it around this, but could go up to £950, possibly £1,000. Any suggestions, want to play Elite, Star Wars Squadron, may be flight sims.

Are you just spamming builds or felt like need to a seperate thread to your original?

Now you have me confused, I only want to order one computer, main reason I originally chose Intel, was that is all I have used since the early 1990's. :)

So which thread contains the PC you want forum members spend their own time reviewing and sorting out a build?

can we have a clue

I’ve merged both threads. @GarethD, please try and keep to the one thread, it helps chart the journey of a build and ensure people aren’t wasting their time answering a thread you consider dead. Ta! 🙂👍

Cheers Gavras, thank your for your input.

I wonder if I can convince my employers that I need a 24" 144hz screen to use at home on the odd time I do so. Otherwise, out comes the plastic.

I will pop in to the branch of Curry's to see what their monitors look like, then get it on line as I most certainly will never buy one from them.

Isn't that a bit naughty.. and people why the high street is dying, happy to use Curry's to window shop but not buy from them.. ;)

(I'm only joking, I do the same, but it does make you feel sorry for Bricks and Mortar stores, Online should have to pay more rates really to compensate)

Anyway, staying on track a 144hz monitor is the only way to go really with your budget/build

Check out here for screens, read up on VA, TN, IPS.

There are 240 hz screens but 144hz will suffice.

for 1080p do not go higher than 25” screens.
