Nothing crazy but with the price of GPU's I scaled it back a bit . I have my own modular Corsair HX850w PSU to go into it at some point and my H100i of I can get the bracket. Already moved my 1Tb,2Tb and 240gb 840pro over.
The H510 now has an airflow front panel that helps greatly with temps mate
Ive ordered two pcs from pc specialist (I am in Ireland), both times the shipping has been insane, is that normal? I wouldn't mind if I had been told before but one pc was a gift for christmas and it arrived after christmas (and I escalated with PC Specialist and Fed Ex to even get them to kick it out of whatever holding center they have them in) even though it was ordered in the gauranteed christmas delivery period. The second PC is for my business (3d art production) and its been in holding by fedex waiting on importer instructions for 2 weeks now.
Does everyone in Ireland have that issue? I got PCs from Currys in 2 days when they were already in stock in Ireland and the longest wait for one was a week.

It's not PCS's fault mate, it's entirely Brexit. They use Fed Ex who have been hit especially hard due to the volume of traffic that goes through them
It's not normal but it's also not a problem that PCS can solve right now outside of sourcing a different courier

@FinnK The main hold up is often waiting for customs (Revenue Commissioners) to clear the PC. As Steve says, there's an ongoing backlog, and I suspect the fact that each PC is unique in terms of spec, adds to the time. It's not like PCS are importing the same PC everyweek, and have all the paperwork and declarations preprinted and Revenue understand what they're inspecting.
Even Amazon was quoting longer lead times to Ireland in the last few weeks, prob as a result of covid impacting warehouse and delivery staff.

I think there is more wrong than just fedex, I chatted to PCS support and they said they would send instructions but it's been 6 days and the status still hasn't updated on the fedex tracker.
I get that brexit is a huge problem, but I think companies like PCS are not ready in any way to work with revenue/fedex/import processes. I mean these are a couple extra documents, if they are not bothered to have them ready to send with the package they should not be selling outside their home market.
If you're in Ireland I don't think you can expect your PCS order in less than 7 weeks from ordering.

It's nothing to do with PCS or documentation. This is a global issue for FedEx, it's exactly the same in the US and that's for internal packages without complications of border issues. FedEx are not coping well with demand.
Please don't make erroneous accusations.

I ordered Nov 26th, it was dispatched on 12th Dec and delivered on 20th. So it is possible to get it in less than 7 weeks
I mean the accusation that PCS are not dealing with this very well is not really erroneous in any sense at all. There are a lot of shipping companies that could get goods to Ireland in a reasonable timeframe. In general it is customers not speaking out that allows this to continue. It needs to get uncomfortable for companies that have these delays for things to change. I can get stuff from Amazon UK sellers in 3 days so demonstrably it is not a universal acceptable issue.
@IRLRobinS I'd love to have your luck! I ordered another PC Nov 22nd and got it Dec 28th after giving FedEx calls directly, it felt like the guy literally ran through a warehouse during the call to find a package. Maybe Amazon has spoilt me with good delivery times.

I bought a €3.5k computer off PCS in April 21 (128gb ram, 4tb raid 0 ssd and a 5950x). It took 4 weeks to get through customs - importer clearance instructions required. FedEx we’re not helpful at all and PCS weren’t interested in getting things fixed until it was well into the 4 week delay.
Now the computer is faulty and needs fixing. It has the 3 year warranty. Because the box was damaged on arrival after 4 weeks in customs, I had to pay for another box to send the computer back in.
Now the empty box is stuck in customs for the same reason - importer instructions required. If the computer gets stuck in customs on the way out then on the way back it could be many months before I’ll see it again.
Had to buy a €4k laptop off Dell to keep me going as my old i9-8950hk 32gb/4tb is struggling with my workload and I can’t relay on a reasonable turnaround for the warrant fix. The new i7-12700h 64gb/4tb laptop will arrive in 2-3 weeks: Well before I hope to get the PCS built computer back. I wish I never tried PCS. The Ireland thing they’ve set up just isn’t reliable at all, from my experience at least. Though this forum indicates that it’s not just me and is a systemic problem.
My advice is that it’s much safer to go with a local builder or a brand name. Warranty is effectively worthless for Irish buyers if things get stuck in Customs and you actually need the computer to get work done.
