What do you want two monitors for? Gaming on two monitors isn't really a thing as you end up with the centre of your displays on the edge of the screens. Not ideal.

The easy alternative seems to me to be to get one display now and a second if desired later. It's the easiest upgrade you can possibly do after all!

Furthermore, the second screen won't benefit from being high refresh as @sck451 unless you're purposely having 2 different individual resolutions for different game types. 2 screens would never be gamed on at the same time, so a secondary isn't going to be running at over 60fps anyway. So you can get a bog standard display as the secondary.

i was only planning on getting 2 60hz monitors because i thought it would cause less problems between the 2,the second screen has always been used for work purposes and used to watch things when gaming but if i could just use my current crappy hp monitor without any problems in the change of resolution between the 2 screens then i suppose theres no problem just using that for the time been and like u say upgrading when i have the extra cash,it would also mean i could get a better main monitor with a higher refresh rate.
Would the 3070 ti have any problems on 144hz

£200
ViewSonic VX2718-2KPC-MHD (though I'd not go for this myself)

£300
LG 27GN800-B (probably where I'd go realistically on this list)

£350
Asus VG27AQ

£500
MSI Optix MAG274QRF-QD (undoubtedly the best, but pricey)
