No, not yet, they said up to 48 hours. But I've got a friend who's agreed to buy it on his account if it doesn't work out. Gonna put through the order this week either way I think.
I've been researching mounts and desk space requirements, would mean reshuffling my speaker setup. It means I'm already fully committed though, both financially and sanity wise.

Yeah, I've been seeing dreadful framerates, as low as around 45fps average on a 3090 at 1080p.

It appears, today, they've released the first patch which looks to have improved framerate stability, we'll see what user reviews say in a few days...

I have no doubt Squeenix (brilliant
) will do right by the game, it's too fundamental a game for so many of us, it really has achieved legendary status in the world, even kids today have heard of the original being referred to as the best game ever made.And for the console version to have been as successful as it has been for so many fans, that's quite an achievement to rewrite it so heavily and still retain the fans admiration. They won't want to lose that with the PC port just down to a few bugs.
I have high hopes, but will probably leave purchasing until it's on Steam.

Ok, so they put it back up to full £70 on Steam.
I refuse to buy it on Epic, that's not an option.
But I have to have it, but refuse to pay £70.
But I'll pay the £50 they were asking when they released it on Steam.

It's £70 quid what the hell! I haven't been on steam for a couple of months now. I was hoping to get the ff remake when I got back from my work trip but not a chance if they are selling it for that!
