First gaming pc

My 11-year-old son is a Fortnite gamer and I am looking for some advice please.

I appreciate there are different prices and specs but if I want to set him up with a gaming pc, do I need a gaming pc, graphics card, hard drive and screen and then just connect the xbox wirelessly?

With a budget of £1K for just the gaming pc, will that give an experience at speeds the developers intended?

What processors and memory should I be looking at?

Any other tips would be much appreciated.

Thank you for the replies, much appreciated and very helpful. I think I have got confused with the Xbox.

Is there an option to not play on the xbox and play on windows?

If so, how would my son access Fortnite, would he download this to the hard drive?

Would the setup just be connecting the gaming pc to the screen and downloading windows 10?

I think there's still some confusion here. We can forget the XBOX for a moment. If your son is getting a PC to play Fortnite, he won't need to play Fortnite on the XBOX too. It's a one or the other situation.

Your new PC will come with Windows 10 already installed (if you choose that option in the PCSpecialist configurator.)

When your son gets the PC, he will need to download, and login, to the Epic Games store (the creators of Fortnite) using his XBOX ID, and download Fortnite onto his PC. He won't need to create a new account and any skins and v-bucks he has will still be on his account.

I hope that helps a little. If you need anything else explaining, please ask. 🙂
