Fear i did what u said, ive reseated my ram, and now i have no input signal on my monitor (im using my dads laptop atm), god can my day get anyworse lol. Why is this happening?

Looking at it probably not, you will probably be better off leaving it tonight and start with a clear head tomorrow unless your another night time person.

And the RAM seems to be in correct, i watched a few guides before I did it, and I did turn everything off and uplug everything. Im reading online that there could be a problem with my GPU? I haven't touched my GPU, so I don't know why this is happening. Looks like ill need to get PCS to collect it and sort it out.

Basically give PCS a call on Monday morning, they will be able to step you through a few checks so they can see if they can figure out what's wrong, it could just be something simple which you may be able to sort out with their help over the phone.

I work Mon-Fri 9-5am, so I don't really have a chance. Id rather send it back and let them run some tests on it. I don't wanna mess around with anything else because tbh, I don't know what im doing. My dads going to drop it off at the local yodel depot on Monday. I've managed to re pack it the best I can (as some of the foam is missing/ripped up). Hopefully Yodel don't damage it as PCS don't accept liability for damages in transit on returns. Gonna ring PCS up at work on my lunch break to tell them everything, and hopefully this all can be sorted.

PCS have been great with everything so far (cannot really blame them for faulty components, even though QC should have picked these faults up), so hopefully they can be efficient with all this. (Fingers crossed)

Before you go taking it to Yodel you need to talk with PCS first, then they will arrange an RMA and collection if required.
Do not just send it without organising the RMA first (for a start without that it will not be insured).

bad torrents. :p

reinstall the game, I've had this problem with a few games before. Bought the retail, and it's fine.

If it had just been one game, that's the first thing I would have suggested (ie. reinstalling), however since it seemed to be affecting all, I doubt it's that :)

Does anyone know/had experience with PCS and RMA? How long roughly do you think it will take say I leave it in the hands of the depot on Tuesday (bear in mind i live like 1hour away from PCS)? Ive been bored stiff all day lol, spent all my money on games to give me something to do until pay day which is 8 days away. Just cannot wait until everything is sorted, was so pleased with the pc until I discovered all the problems.

This will probably depend on many different things, including where you are in the queue to be dealt with, how easy it is for them to recreate the problem and do a variety of different tests to see whether it is hardware failure or something else, and probably a few other bits and pieces as well.

If that's the case, then personally I would speak to PCS, get the RMA authorised and ask if you can deliver/collect yourself if you are able to.

Aye, it would probably make it quicker, since Yodel deliveries are next day delivery even if you are only an hour away from the destination.

Ill let them bring it to PCS, and If my dads in a good mood, Ill ask him if we can go collect it. But I can't see that happening :p

I find it really odd that it crashes to desktop though, normally if it's a hardware fault, it would BSoD on you.

It makes me think it's a software issue somehow, some program running in the background, popping up and killing the game for some reason, it's hard to know really without seeing logs though.

I'm sure PCS shall get to the bottom of it, it's never fun to be without a computer though, trust me I know, been without one for almost a month now, but my order is due in the next few days, so just now I'm sorta bouncing off the walls waiting on it to arrive :)

This is the hardest error to define.

I hate it when it;s like this and the PC gives you no indication as to what has just happened.

no error message or anything.

hmm just a thought, when you press print screen in a game it print screens your desktop

so perhaps there is a very brief error message that pops up

perhaps not, but surely it would be detailed somewhere, in some log.

I spent all day browsing the web for a solution Dante, it was driving me mad, so I had no other choice but to send it to PCS to solve the problem. But what even confused me more was when I reseated the ram and turned it back on it said "DVI no SIGNAL" on the monitor. Very strange indeed.
