it is, maps are absolutely huge and games basically never end, it consists of three continents, you choose a continent when you create your character, so you will stay on the same team every server, but the aim of the game is too control every continent on the map by capturing certain points, it can be a very tactical game and it's brilliant!

Sold! :)

From experience Borderlands 2 is much more fun in co-op and there are some pretty core game mechanics unavailable to you in single player (the revival, ninja loot grab etc.) I only have it on console however, and missed the PCS deal of a free copy with my gpu by around 3 days, so a little sore. If i spin out of my FO3/GW2 haze in the next few days ill look you up on steam. I'm sure you'll love borderlands.

The 15gb download is the only thing stopping me from getting planetside ><

it was 15gb? I always choose the installers from the site over steam but I'm pretty sure it was only like 7gb... it only took me an hour and a half to download on a pretty rubbish download

When I last checked on Steam it was recommended space required 15gb but I didn't actually click on the download to see what it really was. I pretty much max out at 250kb/s downloading so even a 7gb would be an overnight job for me x)
