Gaming - Optimal?

I've made this set-up referencing a few different websites for what's good and what's not. My budget is 1500 max, I was wondering whether this seems like an alright setup, using it mainly for gaming but also for programming at University.
Also does it matter which case I buy? As I'm unsure on which I should get. Finally is It worth buying through this website or would i save much money buying parts separately and building myself? Thanks in advance!

Also does it matter what build of ram I get, is there any advantage to 4x8gb over 2x16gb? Sorry for the bunch of questions

Buying from PCS gives you the confidence that the build has been tested and you get the excellent after sales support from PCS should there be problems. Plus of course the benefit of the collective knowledge and experience of the people on here.

That board supports only dual channel RAM so there's no advantage in 4 x 8GB. For gaming you won't need more than 16GB and I can't imagine you doing anything at uni that will need 32GB either, it's really a waste IMO.

Okay awesome, I'll change that, any info on the case, does it matter or is it more of a whichever looks best to me kind of thing, I presume some will allow for better ventilation etc. Any recommendations? And would you reccomend me keeping the optane memory, or does it not make much difference?
