I'd choose your custom build first, then the L2 (which for the money is a pretty sweet deal tbh) and finally the Chimera XT. But ignore me as I have a Intel chip in my laptop and from a medical standpoint makes me certifiably nuts 🤣

Cheers for your input bud - I've already placed the order for the custom build which Scott suggested. I did also dial down the cooler to the H100i as SpyderTracks recommended. Overall I'm chuffed to bits. This forum gave me the nudge in the right direction.

I thought I'd enquire in this thread about a suitable monitor to go with my system, instead of creating a new one. I was thinking of a 1440P 144Hz display, primarily. I wonder if the system will be able to maintain 144FPS across the board? Cheers.

Yeah, 1440p 144Hz would be the best for a 2070 Super.

What's your budget for the monitor?

The prices seem to vary quite heavily, from what I've seen. If £350-400 could net me a decent one I'd be happy. I'm currently on a 24" monitor and the size suits me very well.

1440p monitors are 27" minimum really, otherwise you'll struggle to read anything on the screen.

This is an excellent monitor at the top of the budget:

Same specs but different manufacturer:

Bottom end of budget:

Thank you @SpyderTracks, those suggestions look really good. I'll do a bit more digging on the specs before I purchase. Is a high quality HDMI cable the best way to connect a monitor these days?
