Hey, so Im very new to PC gaming, coming from console so I have no idea what Im doing really. The main things I need to be able to do is:

PUBG Gaming
Stream (sometimes from console, hence the capture card)
Photoshop/Adobe editing

I have 2x 2560x1440 144hz gaming monitors so want the best output to make use of them as well.

Any advise is really appreciated. Looking to spend up to £2k inc VAT so have a little bit more room to play with if anyone feels its needed.

Thanks!
Harry

The issue is that a 2060 isn't really going to be capable of much at 1440p. And you'd need to rebalance the spec a little, some things are not ideal. I've made an example for you, ideally we'd want 32GB of RAM in there for your editing and streaming but budget is an issue and it can always be purchased and installed later.

Thanks, this is really helpful. Is there anywhere I can potentially cut down on something there, I need to get the capture card as well so this then pushes this quite a bit over budget. I can go slightly higher if needed by a couple of hundred but dont want to do that unless its totally necessary

Although with that said, the 3060ti would mean I wouldnt have to upgrade by graphics card for a lot longer so makes the extra spend more justifiable

You could go for a six core alternative. It'll still eat up and spit out anything that an Intel build could do... and then you can also have your 32GB RAM.

Would I see a huge difference in performance if I went for the 8 core, as in would it justify they greater price based off my needs? Or will it get by fine for now and then look to upgrade in a year or so? This is really helpful btw so appreciate the advice

You shouldn't need to upgrade the 5600x it's a great piece of kit to be honest.

The 5800x is undoubtedly better but the 5600x would do the job
