Hi, looking for advice/feedback on this spec.

Currently have a 1080p 144hz monitor but will be buying a 1440p one later in the year.

Will mainly be used for gaming, games like Elden ring, Forza, God of war, Spiderman etc.

Looking for advice before I make a purchase if there is anything I could improve upon, thanks.

You'll want to wait till later in the year when you've got the monitor. Spending 1440p money on a 1080p system only to have it out of date by the time you change the monitor doesn't make any fiscal sense.

The next generation of GPUs is rumoured to release before the end of the year. One date was the end of the month but this is becoming unlikely now. The key is to match the GPU to the monitor and not spend any more GPU money until you're ready. The rest of the system you can future proof though.

I've selected the 9700X in the below system but wait for the 7800X3D to come back into stock. Below is a very high end 1080p system with a view to getting into 1440p. If you can hold off and get everything the 7900GRE would be good value, The 7900XT is high end 1440p but a complete waste for the monitor.
