What monitor are you pairing it with, what resolution and refresh rate or make an model if you're unsure?

What's your max budget?

Intel is a really poor choice for the foreseeable future, they're awful chips compared to AMD.

My monitor is an Acer SA240Y and my budget is around £1000.

the reason I didn’t go for AMD is because I’m not that knowledgeable about them so I don’t know what will work best.

That's all shirt and no trousers. That case is not the sort of splurge you make when the innards are bottom tier.

You normally want to spend around 10% of the total budget on the case.

Better case, better motherboard for future upgrades, more modern GPU, lowered the CPU as the X is an expensive letter, more sensible primary drive at this budget, better PSU, far better WIFI & a silver warranty in a pear tree....

If you wanted to spend money you could opt for the X if you really wanted to, a PCIe4.0 M2 drive Firecuda) would be nice and maybe 2TB storage over 1TB would be a good option.

No... you'll likely replace an excellent cooler with a mediocre one. Not a good move

If you want a cool... cooler that actually works go for the Frostflow 240 RGB. Just don't purchase it at the cost of anything meaningful, it's very much a luxury and not a necessity.

The power supply is just better overall. You don't need to have it...... it's just recommended. It's higher grade with better components, is quieter, is semi-modular and is highly efficient.
