That clears a lot, thanks man! Also if I decided to upgrade to 32gb ddr3 ram later on would I need more power or will the 750W be enough? do you think I will need a 2nd gpu or is the one I picked good enough for rendering/gaming

750w should be enough. To be certain, spec it up with 32gb and double check.

980ti is going to last a while, personally I would steer clear of SLI and just upgrade the graphics card when it comes to it.

Alright, do you think the 980ti is good for my intended use? Or is there any other gpu better than this without raising the price

So is the Z97e and the ram of ddr3 I have chosen future proof? Or will this be outdated soon

You've selected a 4th Gen chipset, they're now on 6th Gen, so it's up to you. i5's and i7's are great processors though, I've got a first gen i7 in a MacBook Pro and it's still going strong.

Would you recommend this build to my 4th gen build?

Personally, yes, I think it makes more sense to get the latest gen chipset for longevity.

any motherboard will be fine

Guys do you think I should get the 970 instead? It saves me a lot of money and I don't want to run 4K, I just want 1080p with 60+fps and I will be using 2 displays, most games will be on high settings and not ultra, would the 970 be good? and how could I overclock this

overclocking the cpu will void the warranty, in terms of which gpu to choose I would suggest checking benchmarks online. It is really up to you.

IS it not overclocking the GPU voids warranty? I thought you could do the CPU but if it breaks due to the overclock the warranty is then void.

Guys could you tell me if this card supports 2 or 3 displays at 1080p? 4GB NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 970 - DVI, HDMI, 2 x mDP - 3D Vision Ready

Would I need an adapter to connect 2 HDMI displays or does it have ports to connect? Sorry I have asked a ton of questions on this thread..Will DEFO give you all reps

Well the card has one DVI, one HDMI and two mDP ports, so if you have two HDMI cables you will need a convertor for one of them.
