Have Already Ordered But...

Hi everyone,

I’ve requested a build with a full install of Windows 11. On the general info page it says that the serial number / activation will be hard coded into the bios. Which leads me to the question.

Am all for a clean install - do you still think this is necessary when I’ve asked for an O/S with my build? Surely it’ll just be Win11 clean install ready for me to set up?

I’m more than happy to boot off of my Win11 build on USB and clean install. What I’m worried about first off is do you think I need to register the serial on the bios to my Microsoft account or will clean installing have no effect on this?

I take it I won’t get a 25 character product key which is fine so when I install choose ‘activate later’ in the set up options? Then sign into my Microsoft account and it will auto-activate?

Thank you.

You don't need to clean install if you order with an OS, it comes fully configured.

The windows key is bedded in the BIOS of the machine. There is no key to input these days
