I’m pretty sure they didn’t even pack one for my 5800X, hence i didn’t think the 3900X had one. 3600 is probably fine with it, but anything higher... it’s going to run loud to keep cool and eventually, it wont be able to keep it cool and you’ll have a loud and throttled cpu.is it that useless
Recommendations for Cooling that i can choose from on the site before it goes out of pre production?I’m pretty sure they didn’t even pack one for my 5800X, hence i didn’t think the 3900X had one. 3600 is probably fine with it, but anything higher... it’s going to run loud to keep cool and eventually, it wont be able to keep it cool and you’ll have a loud and throttled cpu.
if i amended my order would it take more time for it to move out of a certain stage ?Corsair H115i RGB Platinum
didnt want to pay an extra 300 for a new one and wait longer when its not like 10x betterWhy the last gen CPU?
Hey there, before making a single amendment, I thought I'd suggest a whole build as there's a few things I'd change. If you can stretch to £2,100, I'd highly recommend this build. I feel the Ryzen 9's are generally for extreme multi-tasking as well as creative professionals. For gaming the Ryzen 7 will be a fantastic CPU. With your new montor in mind (assuming it's a 240hz 1440p display) you'll want the 3070 to run it comfortably. For storage, the Gen 4 SSD will load Windows in seconds and the 1TB PCS M.2 will have tonnes of space for your games and apps, then the 2TB HDD will be plenty for your general files. The 850W PSU as you had in your original spec will be a great choice. As has been talked about, I'd recommend an uprated cooler, for the Ryzen 7, I'd go for a H110i. The wifi card will give you 5.0Ghz bandwith as well as bluetooth. The anti-virus has been removed as it's been known to cause issues and the silver warranty is well worth the £5.if i amended my order would it take more time for it to move out of a certain stage ?
You wouldn’t use the stock cooler on 3900x as it wouldn’t be able to maintain boosts so you’d get poor performance. The H100i platinum would be the minimum recommended (240mm rad)The 3900X comes with a AMD Wraith cooler ontop of the CPU unless PCS take it off

I have altered my Spec after listening to what you guys have said and think this is where i am going to keep it from now on ill post it in a second underneath thisHey there, before making a single amendment, I thought I'd suggest a whole build as there's a few things I'd change. If you're strict on your £2,000 budget, a great way to save money is with a Windows computer/laptop that won't be used anymore, taking the key from that, will save about £85, bringing the price down a lot. If you can't do that then I'd change to the Ryzen 3800X as the 3rd generation of Ryzen was still a great generation. Alternatively, if you're happy to spend more, you could upgrade the case to the much nicer looking Corsair 465X.
I'm not sure quite how much this build will change your current spec, but it's one I'd personally highly recommend. Also, PCS goes based on original order date, so changing to a new GPU that has a wait list wouldn't put you at the back

That's great to hear, I'm happy you're enjoying it. I think this may be one of the only downsides to this build (along with the smaller case, which I would recommend upgrading 👀 ) is that it's not 32GB. Although that said unless you're streaming or playing MSFS, you really don't need 32GB for most gamesAbove spec is very similar to my Tornado. Love it to bits and it's a magnificently performing machine so far. Upgraded the ram to 32gb and added a second 1GB SSD for quicker loading of the games in rotation.

I was going to get 32gb but the site doesn't have 32gb of vengeance pro so I am going to either get some after i get the pc or just stick with the 16gbThat's great to hear, I'm happy you're enjoying it. Now THAT will be one incredible build! It'll be amazing! The 5000X is a great looking case and those RGB fans are going to do it wonders. You'll be waiting a long time for the STRIX card but boy will it be worth it, it's by far my favourite looking card.I think this is what i am going to stick with as I'm not currently working so I don't want to make too many changes as of right now thank you guys for all the additions and made me aware of some of the issues I could of faced

I believe they do actually have 32GB, but RAM is very easy to install so it's not the end of the world if you pick some up down the line and install it yourself!I was going to get 32gb but the site doesn't have 32gb of vengeance pro so I am going to either get some after i get the pc or just stick with the 16gb
Ah yes I am being blind I have seen it now, i think i will upgrade it when i have the spare cash to get the extra sticks and as for the chair yeah I am in desperate need of one I've been using the same chair for the past 5/6 years and it is not great , My build is currently 88 days into pre-production so i am hoping in the next few months it can speed up as my current build is struggling a lot, once again i really appreciate the inputNow THAT will be one incredible build! Also great choice on the chair! I had one of those GT Omega chairs and loved it! Upgraded to one now and wish I didn't 😂
