Would there be an issue if the aio wasn't top mounted on the 220t? Along as the pump isn't higher than the top of the rad isn't it OK?,surley they would move the front fans on top as the aio will replace them being side mounted? I know its just for looks but I'd hate to remove the rgb ram! Either way it's between the 400d then adding more fans later or the 220t and not missing out on those extra rgb fans!
There wouldn't be a problem with front mounting in the 220T, it's just the 220T is quite a small case front to back and PCS have a tendency to push pull the rad if it's front mounted (basically putting fans on both sides of the rad) which will eat into GPU space and limit future upgrades.

If you wanted the best of both worlds between the 220T and 4000D you could send in a 4000X- it's the 4000D with a glass front panel (airflow is still good as there's a gap on either side of the glass) and it has the same fans as the 220T. It's been well designed so you can fit a top mounted rad and RGB RAM. As noted before, sending in a case is a very easy process if you want to go down that route

Hello, just wanted to update this and say thank you! I've changed the case to a 200t airflow and changed to a 1tb ssd only ( I have another I can use from my current pc) and changed the psu to a 650W TXm series 80 plus gold.

I hope that gold 650w is enough as I'm at if not over my budget of what I wanted to spend.
Either way just the waiting game of it going into the next stages and then being delivered!

I honestly didn't think the forum/community would be so helpful will definitely recommend anyone using PCS to head into the forums first to get advice!

Anyways thanks again guys will post once it has arrived how every long that may be! 😂
