It is one of the newer controllers with bluetooth so hopefully it should work straight off. Thats brilliant news, thanks NursemorphRegarding the Xbox controller, if it's an XBox 1 controller, then it connects via Bluetooth so you should be fine connecting via the Bluetooth on the Wi-Fi card....My XB1 controller connects via a BT 4.0 dongle with no issues and your Wi-Fi card has BT 5.0.
My advice: After you have set up the computer and everything, try the controller via the Wi-Fi card's Bluetooth...don't see the point in getting a dongle unless you really need it, even if you can get one for less than £15
Ha ha its always the case or just when you are finishing a fairly difficult missionNo worries..it's only a matter of £15 but still. I got my XB1 controller in February and it connect to the bluetooth straight away with no issues so fingers crossed should be the same with you. And you can sit reasonable far away from the computer....I sit about 8 feet away from mine and the controller works without issue (every now and again the controller becomes unresponsive but it's maybe once every couple of weeks...though it always happens right in the middle of an online race rather than when I'm just driving around )
I was thinking of upgrading my 3900x to the 3900xt, but I'm getting the rtx 2080ti, what could I do with that?So does that mean that if i am to Amend mine and swap my 3600XT for the 3700X i would benefit of the promotion? Also can you have a look at my post about my build please
What is your current build? The 3900X and what GPU?I was thinking of upgrading my 3900x to the 3900xt, but I'm getting the rtx 2080ti, what could I do with that?

Thanks for your reply, the price jump on the cpu would be £50, is that a large price difference for the card? The build you listed above, for your uses, is about the best build you will get. Upgrading the CPU will not gain you enough to justify the large price jump. RAM-wise, that board can take up to 128GB so you can add another 16GB in if needed and be fine. GPU: It's up to you if you want to spend the money on the Strix....if you can afford it without sacrificing elsewhere then go for it as I believe it offers enough benefit to be worth it.
That is one thing I need to think about, a mouse, I only chose that one to help with setting things up. I am intending on using a controller mainly but will most likely need one on some games. What mouse would you recommend for a pc newbie?Oh, okay...thought the price jump was higher to be honest. Still, as Scott says, it's up to you...personally, I'd use that £50 to get a better mouse but that's just me.
RAM: Most motherboards can take 64GB+ these days. No idea why PCS limit the 3600 to 16GB....you could always try ringing/live chat and ask if they could increase it to 32GB if you really wanted...they have done it in the past for other people.
This is an amazing mouse within budget, really high quality. That is one thing I need to think about, a mouse, I only chose that one to help with setting things up. We are back with yet another ultra-lightweight gaming mouse review. After Finalmouse kickstarted thiwww.kitguru.net
A decent wireless gaming mouse will set you back about double the price.Looks good that one.
As I will play on tv, away from a desk, I was thinking of a wireless mouse. Are there any good wireless mice and peoples thoughts?
Thats fine, cost isn't everything. Are they worth using, is there any cons to using wireless?A decent wireless gaming mouse will set you back about double the price.
The ones over £100 will be around 1ms response time which is actually what wired mice will achieve as well, they’ve come a long way and are very doable these days.Thats fine, cost isn't everything. Are they worth using, is there any cons to using wireless?
