TBH it's a better configuration from a performance viewpoint. Since Windows can only have one read/write operation in progress per physical drive, having multiple drives lets you spread your very active user files across these two drives. For best performance you should identify which are your most active applications and ensure that you don't have the files for them all on one drive, split them up across the two drives. Doing this will make a noticeable difference to the performance of those applications.the 2 x 2TB barracudas dives does work out a bit cheaper will this compromise the running of the computer if we changed to these rather than 1 x 4tb hard drive
