Help. can someone spec a pc for gaming please

hi need a little help, i'd like to get a gaming pc for around £2k if possible. mainly playing warzone & streaming, i'd also like to maybe have an option to play the latest flight simulator games, i'll be hooking it up to my LG c9 tv

Doing some googling on that TV (it's a 4K 120hz 65 or 55 inch TV), to take full advantage of it you'll need a 3080. I reckon for a fairly balanced 3080 build you're looking at more like £2,400 (although I'm sure the mods could work their magic to reduce that). You could swap this down to a 3070 but you'd have to lower your graphic settings if you wanted to keep to 4K. Swapping a 3070 into this build takes it to £2,150.

That's a very different story. What hz is the monitor?

Alternatively you could get a PC and a new 1440p and 144hz monitor for 2K if that's something you were interested in

We don't recommend going for 1080p above 27 inches, I can't imagine it on more than double that. You could maybe move down to 1440p where the 3070 would be a solid choice and you could get away with a 3060TI

I have the LG CX and run it at 1440p and it actually looks really good. As the others have suggested, I wouldn't even attempt 1080p...

i've changed the gpu is this the correct setup

Guys thanks for the help 🙂 however my misses ain’t happy with what I was about to spend. She’s given me a budget of £1300 now 😟

Oh no! You'll struggle to get a comfortable 1440p build for £1300 but I've had a go. It's come to £1,335. This build does sacrifice on a lot though. The CPU is now the previous generation (which was still a good generation, just not as good as the current one) and the storage solution isn't great and I'd highly recommend upgrading to a 1TB SSD if you can (takes the price to £1,380).

To get a more comfortable and futureproof 1440p build you're looking more in the ballpark of £1,500-£1,600, so if you're able to bargain you're way up there, that'd be great, but understandable if you aren't
