Help deciding monitor

Hey guys. I realise i need a new monitor as my current will bottleneck my PC-

Doing some research i see a few people tell me that the sweet spot for the 2060 RTX is 1080p 144hz?

I understand i should have gotten the 2080ti and just gotten the 144hz 1440p but i haven't. I also know that if i want to upgrade my gpu in the future i should just go 1440p... But my budget isn't huge right now so i would just appreciate if you guys could just help me decide which monitor to buy with the setup i have.

I would like to play battlefield 5 and the new call of duty when it's released.

On the side i play Overwatch, league, warcraft, PUBG, fortnite.

Thanks

*EDIT* MSI Optix MAG241C Full HD 23.6" Curved LED Gaming Monitor - Black is looking very affordable, is there anything better than this?

You know for those games you could quite happily get a 1440p 144hz monitor and run with the 2060.

but for those games wouldn't you recommend 1080p? I don't think i could get decent frames with the 2060 using 1440p 144gz monitor in games such as battlefield

You will get high FPS with managed settings.

Remembering of course than 1440p is a much higher resolution than 1080p, so even if you play 'very high' instead of ultra' you're still going to get a higher quality image than 1080p.

As for ultra settings:

If it's pulling 70-85 FPS on ultra on BF5, it should do very well indeed on high-very high.

And will make short work of Overwatch:
(numbers are for 2060 Super, but the Super isn't far ahead of the 2060 non-Super)

And ultimately you can still set the resolution to 1080p for any individual titles you like.
