Heya! As Martin has alluded to in the thread he's linked, we'll need a bit more info before we're able to assist

1) How much are you looking to spend?
2) What will you be doing with the PC? Gaming? If so what games? Streaming? Photo/ video editing?
3) What monitor will you be using? - This is super important to know what GPU to pair with the build. Either make and model or resolution and refresh rate would be ideal!

For the whole Intel V AMD situation, 10th and 11th gen weren't great and the 11900K was a CPU that was commonly labled the "worst flagship of all time"- it was a furnace of a CPU and performed worse than it's predecessor so as you can tell, probably not one I'd recommend. NOW, Intel have recently released 12th gen, it's on a brand new platform and currently the topping the performance charts. if you'd rather stick to intel, I would no doubt, 100% recommend 12th gen. But it's also worth considering AMD, they're a more stable platform (this is really because of new platform teething issues on the Intel side), less power hungry and less thermally demanding and slightly less expensive, but as a trade off, they don't perform quite as well as the intel alternative

Need a PC for gaming and streaming games such as Apex legends,valorant,Tarkov and RPG games like Wow and new world.
I currently use a LG 32BL75U 32” 4K UHD monitor for my games and tv
Looking for a PC with a budget of £2500 can anyone help me out thanks.

This will handle gaming and streaming comfortably.
I would recommend a different monitor for gaming, especially with the fps titles you've listed. There is a bit of room in your budget to grab a 1440p 144hz monitor which the 3070 will capably handle, and will offer a better gaming experience than the 60hz monitor that you have at the moment.
The Asus VG27AQ can be had for under £300 and is a great pick at the moment.

You don’t want to go near those processors, they’re what the Spanish would call el terriblé.


The build specced up for you by @MrWilson is superior across the board.

@BClarkey47 If you did want to stick with the Intel route, I, along with just about everyone wouldn't recommend sticking to 11th gen. As I've explained above, 12th gen is however a different ball game

For the whole Intel V AMD situation, 10th and 11th gen weren't great and the 11900K was a CPU that was commonly labled the "worst flagship of all time"- it was a furnace of a CPU and performed worse than it's predecessor so as you can tell, probably not one I'd recommend. NOW, Intel have recently released 12th gen, it's on a brand new platform and currently the topping the performance charts. if you'd rather stick to intel, I would no doubt, 100% recommend 12th gen. But it's also worth considering AMD, they're a more stable platform (this is really because of new platform teething issues on the Intel side), less power hungry and less thermally demanding and slightly less expensive, but as a trade off, they don't perform quite as well as the intel alternative

The build below should be pretty compitent with just about anything you throw at it. I'm also in agreement with @MrWilson about going for a new monitor. If you haven't experienced it before a 144hz is an incredible experience compared to 60hz and one that I highly recommend. The ASUS is a solid shout from Wilson, another choice is the Gigabyte M27Q

The other option you have is to split the budget into 2 sections, buy the PC with one and a better quality 1440p 144hz monitor with the other. Our current 1440p 144hz recommendations are the Gigabyte M27Q, ASUS VG27AQ and Dell S2721DGF, all three of which should retail for about £300. This is the build I'd personally recommend to pair with said monitors (y) any questions, ask away!
