Ahh I'm with you 👌🏻Why are you not convinced by them? The liquid cooling is just the AIO. It’s a sealed unit and only requires dusting of the fans every month or so like an air cooler would. They give fantastic temps and the H115i will keep the 5800X icy cool. Over recent years they’ve really worked on the quality of them so they’re pretty much bulletproof (they don’t leak) these days, especially the Corsair units. Damage can sometimes be caused in shipping, so I’d just double check for leaks when you first turn the PC on and first time you put it under load, if you have no leaks then then you’re good to go.
We generally don’t recommend the PCS air coolers and the Cooler Master 212 probably isn’t strong enough to keep temps comfortable with the 5800X. If you’re really not wanting an AIO, you could look into installing your own when the PC arrives. Noctua are generally known to be top of the line air coolers.
