Help to build my gamer pc please

Hello, I was read the forum for weeks before I decided to register.

I am planning to buy a new gamer PC.
I am planning to buy a 240 (Asus Rog Strix XG258Q, Alienware AW2721D, Alienware AW2720HFA, or maybe a 360 Hz Monitor (Asus Rog Swift PG259QN) so I really would maximize the performance. If you can prefer a better monitor on the same budget I am open for any idea.
I would prefer an AMD processor but a new 12th gen Intel is also an option if I can get it for nearly the same budget.
I just would write the AMD version down.
Ryzen 9 5950x processor.
For VGA, I would prefer an nvidia rtx 3090 but if I can hit the performance I would hit with the monitor, and also ok like an rx 6900 xt. If radeon, I would prefer the sapphire nitro version.
For motherboard, I was think on an Asus Rog Strix x570-F or a gigabyte x570s Aorus Pro
for ssd, a samsung 980 pro
power supply, no idea how big I may need, I would prefer a Corsair.
I have no idea about the case and cooling but for cooling I would buy the best, I really would keep the temperature as low as I can.
RAM... I would hit the highest MHz I can so if needed, I am happy to change the motherboard for that but I would hit the 4000MHz with the DDR4. I know also CL is important but I don't know how it works so I would get the fastest option on around 4000MHz or more if possible.
RGB is not important to me, wifi also does not matter. I can't tell you my exact budget, I know that is not cheap what I would get. Depend on the price I thinking to get 7.1 sound and make the sound also awesome.
As I said, I have not much experience in that, I am not sure if those things are even compatible with each other, or I can get from them what I would but I hope someone can help me here.

I just read a post from moderator Spydertracks. I would enjoy the games as much as possible, the best reaction time I can get but the gaming experience is the first priority so I want to say wow when I watch the monitor and game I playing. :) Sorry for the update and doublepost. So I am not sure about the monitor as well now :S

What's the budget and what type of games do you intend playing, any monitor much above 144 Hz is a waste as the average human eye can't tell the difference above 120

Wow, thanks for the quick reply. I am not sure about the monitor as well then, I thought that will be a huge difference. I would get the performance I want as cheap as possible but I can go up to £5-6000 without the monitor.

After I read the specifications you posted here, I made few changes and that is something I happy with. Actualy I have storage Drive so I just removed them. I am planning to order this month and this one is definitely I prefer now. Thanks.

I would strongly advise against the 3090, you are paying a fortune for next to no performance gain. The 3080Ti is the pinnacle of gaming.

With your drive selections, I wouldn't recommend this. I didn't suggest the M2 drives for storage... they are selected with gaming in mind. The small 500GB drive would be for the OS, programs and maybe a game. You want to keep this drive under 250GB (I would aim for 200 max personally). The other 1/2TB drive is purely for fast load games. The M2 drive I selected is as fast as it gets and will make a difference to load times.

The EVO SSD could be ditched though. That was purely a luxury splurge based on your budget for fast storage.

Does a 5950x offer any appreciable performance increase for gaming over the 5900x? Like the 3090, this appears to be spending money for little, if any, reason.

It'll depend a lot on the game and the other uses (if streaming or etc).

There won't be any perceived losses or gains for the most part, but there will be situations where it will offer that little bit more with none of the down side.

If I was spending 4k (ish) on a system I'd have a 5950X in it personally. It would be the last part to consider from a financial point of view though. The 5800X would have most people covered with the 5900X being a luxury spend.
