Help with first build

Hello,

What's your opinion on this build.
I don't have a huge budget, max £3000, £300 will go towards the second monitor. So £2700 for the PC. I would love the best value for my money.

a. It will be used for sports trading through an API.
b. Programming (python).
c. Collecting and analysing databases (Microsoft excel, R), I won't be analysing huge datasets, mainly taking small Samples at a time.
d. Virtual machines (no more than two)
e. Gaming (AAA titles at 1440p).
f. I currently have an Acer 27" 1440p 75hz - KG271U , and I'm hoping to pick up another but with a higher refresh rate (144).

I'm torn between the Ryzen 3900 and 5900, I've already talked myself out of the 950's

There are some questions I have.
Will the motherboard do?
Is the case appropriate?
Is the cooling adequate? Do I need extra fans?
Will there be any problems running an SSD as the primary drive housing the OS?

hi, I cannot create a configurable link because the 6800xt is out of stock. No option to move past this page without, choosing a new G-card.

here is a link, I have replaced the g card with a 6700, please keep in mind I am waiting for 6800xt and I will be purchasing with windows professional, for some reason when saving a quote it defaults back to home.

For your uses this would be the ideal build, now we can work from this and remove/change parts to work out where we can make saving where we need to.

This is about as good as it gets for your uses outside of 3600Mhz RAM. You could make that jump too though?

Thanks, im considering your build suggestion, one more thing. Do I need 64gb of RAM, I'm not opposed to it, I thought 32 was a lot.

I went for the 64GB because of the mention of virtual machines, programming, collecting databases, etc.

If you thinking you only need 32GB then I would switch to 32GB of 3600Mhz RAM. Only you really know your usage I just went with I think yo you should have
