Help with PC Build

So I've posted on here before and someone recommended a great build for my price range, however my budget has changed now and was wondering if someone could help me put together the best gaming pc for my budget.

Budget = £2,000 - £2,500
Monitor = Samsung G5 Odyssey 144hz (will be buying it for the build)

I was going to get myself a PS5 but would rather have a beast of a pc to run all those high spec games for the years to come. Ideally id want to be able to play all the newest games at the highest settings. I also wanted to get into streaming on Twitch with this build.

Thank you guys :) x

Just to help, this is what was proposed last time. What are you looking to improve on?

Specced you a 1440p build that should last you for 7-10 years. Didn't have room for the monitor in the 1700, hope you can stretch a bit more for it. Something like the Odyssey G5 is a great choice at the £300 mark.

I'm not really good with computer parts etc. I just want the best gaming pc I can get for the price, I think id want 32gb of ram, but in general I want the best parts that will run games the best.

PCS have an open case policy, you can work on the machine without voiding warranty. So you could keep in budget with minimum required RAM then add more if needed.

Oh okay, thats good. So would you suggest a fast 16gb? Just to clarify the pc i have now isnt the one that was posted earlier, the one i have now is a much cheaper build.

16GB will do fine for most things. Only thing to remember is that if you add more RAM it must be exactly the same type.

Ok I just took a look at the spec on here that @MrWilson did for you and if you've got that extra little bit of cash available, all i would do is add another Samsung 980 in there but a 1TB one to put your games on, and up the PSU from 750w to 850W to give a little more headroom for upgrades down the line, I'm he would have included these at the time if he'd had the budget

Sorry - are you upgrading one you have bought OR buying a new one?

I posted what was proposed before because I thought you were buying a NEW one and that build recommended before is still just as good as it was when recommended for what you want - I put it on so people could tweak it to your new budget.

Are you saying you bought one now? and want to upgrade? If so please post the full spec of your current machine to get the best advice on what to do.

I was under the impression he wanted a NEW one as well, which is why i suggested the tweeks to the build you posted in my last post above

There have been stability problems at 3600MHz using 4 sticks of RAM. I am not sure whether this has been fixed. If selecting 3600 RAM, it might be safer to stick with 2 sticks of RAM.
I would agree. Some have issues and some don't. If you must have 32GB then use 16GB sticks to be safe.

Given it's a 5000 series CPU and how they benefit from 4 sticks of RAM, I'd personally go with 4 sticks of 3200MHz RAM...I'm still not convinced 3600MHz makes much difference outside of things like music production, data processing and things like that. But that's a personal point of view
I don't see the point in using 4 x 8GB sticks? 2 x 16GB sticks, whether 3200MHz or 3600MHz, seems a safer bet given the uncertainty about 4 higher speed sticks in these builds.

Well, I haven't seen anything suggesting 3200 is an issue but then again I haven't looked into it much so am probably wrong. I was merely coming from the point of view that the new 5000 series AMD CPUs work better with 4 sticks than 2 (maybe not better, more efficient?)
Ah, I didn't know that (about 4 sticks being better). Better in what way though? AFAIK none of the consumer boards are quad-channel?

This sticky thread was the first to raise the benefits of using 4 sticks of RAM with Zen 3. I am not sure the benefits are worth the risks at 3600 MHz
