Help with Upgrade

Hi, I don't know much about computers regarding upgrading etc. So I'm hoping a post on here with my computer spec and a budget can hopefully help someone steer me in the right direction.
Budget wise, nothing massively expensive, but can spend a bit, I am not a big PC gamer, but on the occasion I like to play something I'd like it to run fairly smoothly.
At present, my computer struggles to run Oldschool runescape efficiently. But thats just one example.

Processor - AMD A10-5800K APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics, 3800 Mhz, 2 Core(s), 4 Logical Processor(s)
Ram : 8gb
Graphics Card - I assume its build into the processor?

Again, please don't mock me, I'm not very clued up on this stuff, would a better graphics card scratch my itch?

As mentioned, the main uses for it are a bit of light gaming (Runescape, Sims, Roller coaster Tycoon), i also sometimes play my Playstation 2 Emulator (PCSX2) but this runs poorly due to my low specs I assume.

I had this computer custom built for me, no Less than 10 years ago now. And.. at the time, it ran quite well, but overtime its performance has dropped significantly. At its peak I was able to run most games from Steam, at pretty high settings, but not anymore.

If I'm missing any other important information, please do advise.

Thank you in advance.

Hi Joe, was this is a PC Specialist build?

If so, could you post the full specs from your orders page? If not, I'm afraid as this is a PC Specialist forum, we can only offer advice on Pc Specialist builds.

For general tech questions you need a tech forum like Tom's Hardware.

You will be able to find the order if you log in to your account even if it's over 10 years ago. As long as you have the same email address you can simply change the password and log in.
