Motherboard

I have ordered the spec below. I want it to be expandable to add a mid range graphics card in the future. Will the motherboard I have selected allow me to do this considering what all the other components I have selected for installation now or should I have upgraded the motherboard to something else?

The motherboard is very basic but will work just fine for adding a GPU later. I would upgrade to the Samsung 840 evo if you can, the v300 is rubbish after Kingston lowered its spec.

Any real advantages to upgrading the motherboard to the H97 before my pc is built and it becomes too late to change?

I suppose that what I should have perhaps said is that if a mid range graphics card was fitted in the future would the motherboard be suitable for stuff like video editing etc? Will I ever need more than 16gb RAM for video editing/light gaming or access to more SATA 6gb connections?

That depends on you. If you do heavy video editing for a living yes you could benefit from more ram, if you want to have several hard drives then you would need more sata ports

Thanks, unlikely to ever do video editing for a living, only hobby type stuff. Doubt I will need a third hard drive either, so sounds like the motherboard should be capable for all my existing and future expansion plans.
