I am planning on gaming/streaming from this PC - potentially some video editing too... Although I already have a laptop capable of this.

I will be playing Warzone for the majority of the time and basically just want something that will outperform my PS5, ideally 100fps at 1080p.

I will also want to add a video capture device for streaming but there is an issue with stock here.. What would people recommend? I already have an elgato HD60S+ for my ps5. Is this suitable for a PC?

Also, I have an AOC Gaming 27G2U monitor (144hz -1080p)

Budget is somewhere in the region of £1,500 but ideally lower

If you’re 1080p and only wanting to stream and use 144hz monitor... the PS5 outperforms the PC you would want.

Do you have a budget? I will add a build below, which is what you would be looking at, which will beat the PS5 at 1080p, as PS5 is 120fps max, where as a pc can easily hit the 144hz.

It does in some sense but not for warzone.. It is still a "PS4"game so the most you will get is 60 fps - also no FOV slider.. Also, i think the reason for a PC is for ease of streaming because at the moment relying on all the different components needed to stream from my playstation is proving to be a pain.. I don't really have a budget if im being honest but less than 1500 would be great!

This is the lowest i can get a streaming build and the cpu may potentially struggle, but it is a solid cpu - so i expect it to be fine.

Thank you for this, I do just want to ask if a 3060 and water cooling is overkill? I will definitely have to take a look at my budget, I will have an extra bit of money laying around from selling the PS5 so maybe going for a higher spec one is worth while... Saves me doing upgrades in the near future! I was under the impression that the 30 series GPU's prices had sky rocketed recently. Is that the case with pre-built??

30 series cards are expensive yes. My nephew streams with a 3700X/6700XT/16gb ram and is absolutely fine.

This is my first ever PC.. I stream off of console at the moment and just really want to up my gaming experience... I currently have a PS5 so i need something to outperform that!

I believe this build will do that comfortably. The only question I really have is: What capture card would people recommend? Is there any real differences?

Also, would this PC comfortably game and stream at 720/1080 at the same time?

Another thing is with the 30 series GPU's, it says that its pre order only, what does this mean in terms of build times? How long would i be waiting?

I wouldn't really want to go much more expensive than this to start but if i'm being real I could push it over £2k. I currently have an AOC monitor with 144hz refresh rate @ 1080.

This is definitely in the firing line if an upgrade is needed but I feel it will suffice for now.

The 5800x CPU will comfortably handle gaming and streaming.
With regards to the capture card, are you still looking to stream from console? For PC gaming you’re better off using a program such as OBS, if you’re looking to stream from the PS5 a 1080p60 capture card will be ample with your current setup.

Edit: Seen the merge now, the capture card you have will be ample for streaming from console.

Sorry, I wasn't very clear on that, I will be gaming on PC only - getting rid of my PS5. I currently use OBS on my laptop but would prefer to run it off of one PC if possible. May not be ideal but I think it would be better for me...

Ok, this is the reasoning around the storage configuration:

HDD is for basic files that don't require fast drive speeds such as text files, videos etc
The 500GB SAMSUNG 980 PRO M.2, PCIe NVMe (up to 6900MB/R, 5000MB/W) is your systems drive which has OS and programs on it
The 1TB PCS PCIe M.2 SSD (2000 MB/R, 1100 MB/W) is your games drive this is where you store your games, so should you ever need to reinstall the OS you don't have to reinstall all your games as well.

HDD Storage drives are older format storage. It's a Hard Disk

The new format SSD's are much much much faster. It's the same in the sense that it's storage but it's a newer format of storage.

HDD's are fine for things like keeping photos, videos, music, etc

But loading times will be drastically improved on SSD for things like games or editing or design work

The new format SSD's are much much much faster. It's the same in the sense that it's storage but it's a newer format of storage.

HDD's are fine for things like keeping photos, videos, music, etc

But loading times will be drastically improved on SSD for things like games or editing or design work

And M.2 are way faster than SSD, which makes SSD a bit of a piggy in the middle
