How fast is your internet according to Speed Test?

Hi,my my download speed:1.08kbps
and my upload speed:0.86kbps
i check my speed from here http://www.ip-details.com/internet-speed-test/

...and I thought MY speed was bad. I hope you meant Mbps not Kbps!!

Have a go on this site, as I've heard that this is one of the preferred sites for accuracy.

Try the site suggested above by PokerFace instead as I'm not convinced it's all that accurate either.

I just ran it and it gave me a reading that's a fraction of what I'm actually getting.

The Fibre trials are all a lie!

I can see the exchange nearest us that is part of the roll out...and yet BT cant give it to us, and I have no idea why!

Its like you have to have your left hand touching the exchange and your right hand using the mouse on your PC to get anything more than the usual broadband!

(Rest of the country is probably fine...its just my fault for living down here!)

Really annoying thing is, I live about 20 metres from a virgin fibre optic box but they never extended to our house when it was built 3 years ago

I don't know if that's good or not. It's supposed to be the best Sky can offer. I turned down 02 last week so I hope so!

The only problem is ours has to carry two gamers on it. We don't tend to suffer too much with BFBC3 but you never know
