Hello mate, got a couple of questions to help us optimise this build.
What's your budget?
What are you going to be using the PC for? Gaming, editing, design etc
Do you have a monitor already or in mind? Make and model or resolution and refresh rate would be handy to know. :)

Ok, so we've got a build with upgrade potential down the line. 2060 will be more than enough for 1080p gaming, will be handy for NVENC streaming and running Cyberpunk too. If you were looking to get a better GPU down the line you would need a new monitor to pair with it.

Yeah but the ray tracing better in the 30 series gpus . Not sure what the nvenv is ? Is there a difference in b550 motherboards over x570 ? And yeah defo plan to upgrade monitor down the line so when hdmi 2.1 for available prob 4k 120hz when they are reasonable price and then get newer gpu . Btw thanks so much for your response im really just goin of a few things i read :)

Ray Tracing is better in the 30 series, but that is a big chunk of your budget just for slightly better ray tracing. The 3060ti is a 1440p 144hz monitor, taking ray tracing out of the equation it is massive overkill for the monitor that you're currently rocking. Tbh even the 2060 is a little overkill for 1080p 144hz but I opted for it in this build because (1 it does support RT and (2 it supports NVENC. NVENC is nvidia's encoding software built into it's graphics cards that will be useful if you wanted to give streaming a try.
The b-550 is essentially a budget x-570. The main difference is that the x-570 has PCIe4.0 channels which means data gets transferred between components much faster, which leads to an uptick in performance.

I would recommend spending the £9 to upgrade the paste, a cool PC is a happy PC! Top-end aftermarket coolers come with premium paste pre-applied, but when using the 5600x stock cooler in my opinion thermal paste upgrade is worth it.
Yes, 850W PSU was with upgrading your GPU in mind.

Ok cool ive git the pcs frostflow 240 do you think i should still upgrade the thermal paste and also i guess with that motherboard i wont need a wireless network card? I think the 3060 could hold up tho for a couple o years compared to the 2060 if new higher demanding games come out ?

Would a 750w psu run a 3080 gpu or would it be limiting its capability aswell ? Again amazing advice thanks so much

Honestly, for gaming I don't think you need to go for an aftermarket cooler; the cooler that comes by default will be absolutely fine. For £18 the wifi card is a steal, it's very fast and has everything you need, including Bluetooth 5.0.
Again, the 2060 will be more than enough to cope with almost any title at 1080p 144hz and will continue to do so for many years to come If you specifically want to focus on 2nd gen RT, I would probably advise waiting a little bit. The RTX 3050 is rumoured to be coming out in January, and although specs are not confirmed it will likely be the 1080p king and support ray tracing at a more suitable pricepoint. We have to do the best we can with your budget and in my opinion the 3060ti is not the way to go. I would recommend to either take the 2060 now or wait for the 3050.

Nvidia recommends 750W for the 3080. However, paying £20 to upgrade to 850W gives you futureproofing if their next gen graphics cards have increased power draw. Your PSU should last you 10 years, in a build I would always recommend not to skimp on it.

Thanks man your advice is great ill probably stick with the gpu bevause i do want tp upgrade monitor next job and then maybe runa 2 monitor setup . Cpu cooling i might stay with the frostflow just to be sure my cpu will last and if i need to start rendering vids when my streaming career takes off lol
