Purposely gone for the 5700 XT as I play in 1440p/144hz and have FreeSync monitors. The 5700 XT benchmarks extremely well at 1440p/144hz.

Pretty solid build to be honest. Looks excellent. I would consider the H100i RGB platinum over the 240 coolermaster cooler. Your choice should just about cover you but the H100i gives you another level of cooling and it's also basically silent.

I would always choose the 2070 Super over the 5700XT. It's more compatible with less issues and slightly more powerful. Costs more though, which is the obvious down side. The 2070 Super is compatible with Freesync, just in case you weren't aware :)

Thanks mate, I already ordered it impulsively a few days back and only now (like a numpty) am I asking for feedback on it. Glad you think it's solid overall i'm super excited for it to arrive. I went for the 5700XT as everywhere I've looked I see the benchmarks on the 5700XT edge out the 2070 at 1440P. It's also part of my OCD having the CPU and GPU both AMD haha. The cooler I may look at upgrading at a future date if needs be.

You are free to make changes should you wish to btw :)

The 2070 Super should edge the 5700XT to be honest. I can't think of may games where the AMD would win out. There's driver issues and incompatibility issues been reported as well. The 2070 Super is definitely the safer choice. Not sure of the difference in price though.

You think so? Does it also work perfectly with Ryzen CPU's? If so, which 2070 do I go for there's loads of options :S

Also do you think it's worth upgrading the Motherboard to the rog strix variant or not?
