Illuminated fans?

Hi, my new desktop came with illuminated fans that cycle through different colours.

Is there anyway to turn this off or stop the cycling?

Can you post your build from the PCS order page? Depending on the type of fan the control mechanism might be different.

IE) could be using the corsair commander/icue software or even just a button on the case.

It's often connected to the reset button on the case, you press it to cycle between the effects.

I pressed that little button and now found it sets a solid colour with no cycling. That's much better, thx.

One other issue. On start up i get 4 or 5 unhealthy sounding beeps. Is that meant to happen?

Can happen on occasion, I get 3 short and 1 long beep if my monitors are not powered up before I turn on my PC but PC starts fine.

If you get a beep, but the PC starts (and you notice nothing untoward) its usually not an issue, if you notice a beep and the PC does not start or you obviously notice a problem then thats an issue.

Try deliberately powering up the monitors before powering on your PC to see if the beeps occur.
