Is that CPU overclocked? and if so why?

From what ive read here that its useless for gaming but I could be wrong . . . . Heh I usually am : D

no its not overclocked, :) the K version means it can be overclocked, however, like you said you wont see much benefit for gaming.

you could drop it a notch to save a few quid.

Cool, I think i'll add more Ram as I use AutoCAD and Rendering programs alot.

So why should I not get the Sli of the 680's as I probably wont be able to afford it in the future heh

well a single 680 is gonna be a right beast, and to be honest ya dont really need two 680's for one screen, although if you wanted to have three screens then yeah would be a good idea.

But, its your rig, so you want dual 680's for massive frames per seconds and gaming performance then you go for it!

Heh oke I believe ya. I'll stick with the 680. This will give 60+ FPS during BF3 right?

Thanks for all the help guys much appreciated!!

one 680 will give you more than 60fps in bf3! dual 680's are gonna give ya well over a hundred, may dual 580's give me 100-120 fps on ultra!
