Hey so I've got this problem with my second hand laptop here. The web surfing is good I get 270mbs on speed test, but when I go to play any online game it either disconnects from the server or the ping goes from 20 to 400-900 I've got some photos on my phone I've tried absolutely everything from networking tweaks to rebooting the windows a couple of times I've tried command prompts I've tried network reset I tried everything sometimes it just says connected but no internet Its really frustrating

By the way the WIFI card is Wi-Fi 6 ax200 160mhz.

I bought this laptop on eBay really clean, but this unique problem appeared I've never had this problem before and I don't think its my WIFI.

If it’s second hand you’d need to get the seller to transfer ownership which will give you access to an online account which has your drivers and also your complete specs.

Until that’s done I’m afraid you’re not eligible for any support from PCS.

The only person who can transfer ownership is the seller, so you’d need to contact them.

Speed is irrelevant really for troubleshooting online gaming. You need to see the latency, you can use cloud flare to test the latency along with any intermittent drop outs if there are any

Run that and post the result

I very much doubt it's the actual wifi card, it would either work or it wouldn't. I'd more suspect a driver/software issue.

I take it you clean installed it when you got it? What method did you take to clean install and what process did you take to source / install drivers?

What anti virus are you using?

I tried a clean install of all of the drivers as well as the windows itself

So if you could answer the questions raised and go into more detail?

A lot of people say they’ve done a clean install not realising they haven’t.

And you’re missing most of the infoemation from the speed test, there’s loads of detail underneath that
