Ionico 17 - Possible to run 1440p 240hz on external monitor?

Hi guys, maybe this will help someone - i got myself a Dell S2721DGFA monitor. The screen can do HDMI 2K @ 144Hz and DP 1.4 2K @ 165Hz. I am using a USB type C to DP 1.4 cable (the one that Barlew provided link for) and the screen works at 2K @ 165Hz so i think the DP port of the laptop is 1.4 and not 1.2 as advertised.

I can confirm this. I can get upto 240FPS on the USB C to DP cable linked in this thread

Hi all, hopefully this will help some people. I bought this HDMI 2.1 to DP 1.4 convertor for my 49inch wide screen monitor 120hz, by using this cable i was able to get the full res and refresh rate on my monitor. It works a charm.
