Is it worth upgrading to 32GB of Ram

I have just ordered a new laptop that I intend to use to play games. Having looked at a number of recent games specs requiring 16GB of memory I wondered if it was worth upgrading to 32 GB as a form of future proofing. An upgrade like this would cost about £50. Do you think it’s worth it? Can you suggest any other upgrades for a similar price?
Here are the specs for the machine;

For gaming it’s not going to help, not during the lifetime of the laptop.

if you’ve got spare cash then up the gpu as that will be the first bottleneck

So when is it a good idea to increase memory from 16gb to 32gb?

What type of user will benefit the most from having 32gb?

Flight sims, 4k video editing, and anything that operates on large files where performance is critical (so they are buffered in RAM).
