No, don't lessen the speed of the RAM. 6000MHz is where Ryzen 7000 performs at its best, though I doubt the timings here are top-end, unfortunately.Great thanks this is definaitely a better build to the one i did have and has a lot more future proofing, however I do have a few questions.
1. What do you think about lowering the speed of the RAM to save a small amount of money, would this be worth it, could the money be saved elsewhere or is this as economical as the build can get?
2. Will the graphics card still perform aswell as the 4070 or is it limited by things such as ray-tracing and DLSS (or AMDs version)?
3. Will the fans included with the LIAN LI LANCOOL be enough?
It's similar in performance to the 4070, probably a little ahead (if you look at reviews, they're from release day: the 7800 XT has got a little faster and the 4070 a chunk slower), but ray-tracing is inferior, and FSR (AMD's DLSS equivalent) is decent, but not as good and, AFAIK, not quite as prevalent. That said, realistically with a 70-tier card, you're not turning ray-tracing on; it's just not worth the loss of frames.
I would expect this to be ample fans, yes.
