Is this wireless card sufficient for playing games like CSGO and R6Siege without lag?

I recently purchased a PC from PCS, and when it arrived it performed better than expected... in all areas but the Wi-Fi. In hindsight, I should have purchased a better wireless card, but if that is necessary I will do it and would like some advice on that.

My problem is not mainly with the speed, but with the random lag spikes that occur when I play CSGO, making the game practically unplayable. I just want to know whether this is likely my settings or Windows or if lag spikes on games are common with this card, and I should upgrade it. ( I have checked my settings on CSGO and I do not believe they are the problem, as well as ran a lot of troubleshooting with no success)

Wireless card is WIRELESS 802.11N 300Mbps/2.4GHz PCI-E CARD

Edit: I am one floor above the room with the router in, my old Lenovo laptop had no problems with connecting to CSGO, and the antennae arrived already connected to the wireless card, I have only rotated and fully extended them since with no difference.

Edit: in device manager it says that the drivers for the card are from Microsoft in 2018, where can I get the specific/up-to-date drivers for this card?

The lags might not be the WiFi at all but something else. It's easy to prove whether or not it's the WiFi by temporarily cable connecting to the router. I appreciate that this means moving the PC temporarily, but it is worth the trouble to either prove or eliminate the WiFi.

OK I'll try that tomorrow and let you know whether the issues persist. Also, I've read in several related threads that PCS offer device drivers for their products, specifically wireless cards, where can I find that?

Should be in your main PCS account in Tech Support/downloads
