Well the mod's decide to remove disagreeing posts. But to OP. If you read this, decide if you want to trust mods working for PCS who might put PCS' interest before yours.

The point about putting PCS' interest above OP's still stands.

I doubt they would be allowed to be moderators if they went against company policy for too long

None of us work for PCS Specialist, as it says in our signatures we are volunteer moderators. We, and our experienced speccers, only want potential customers to get the best value for money.

We’re happy to get into an open debate but not when it’s in danger of derailing a thread and especially not when you haven’t provided a single shred of evidence. If you want to discuss why you think the 5000X is poor, start your own thread on it.

You’re on thin ice, you will be issued a warning if this behaviour continues.

The posts were deleted as they're off topic for the OP.

You're basing your arguments off assumption, there's no evidence to back it up, so I'm afraid it's not at all valid.

If you want to supply some benchmarks to backup your theories, please do so.

We don't work on assumptions on this forum, only on 3rd party benchmarks.

I'm also issuing you a warning as you're intentionally trying to pit the OP and hence other readers against the Mods, who by the way have no connection to PCS at all, we don't get paid to do this, we're all selected simply for our presence on the forum. ** I see @AgentCooper already has.

PCS don't require us to recommend any products or anything like that, and you'll see reading through history that we're happy to recommend something different to what PCS have done.

Derailing a thread? We're discussing the components OP can best include in his PC. The case is one such component.

Pitting OP against mods? Again, i am just stating my opinion. Rely on benchmarks? Google any "3rd party benchmark" and look at how the 5000D airflow has several degrees cooler temperatures than the X or solid variants.

This is not some fluffy duffy open forum like reddit where you can say whatever you want and hide behind free speech, you are expected to abide by the forum rules that you agree to when you sign up. This is a heavily moderated closed forum. If you bad mouth PCS or state things that aren't true (in this case about the moderation team), then there will be penalties.

You've literally just joined the forum, and you're trying to dictate how the forum should run.

This is a private forum and as such has terms and conditions, like any private platform such as Twitter, Facebook etc.

Where are said rules? Can't find them.

My posts seem to be deleted left and right. "Promoting self build" - and yet you claim you want the best value for the (prospective) customers?

The words prospective customer are the important parts there. There’s plenty of forums like Tom’s Hardware, Reddit and PC Part Picker where people can discuss buying separate components and putting the system together themselves. As this forum is owned by PC Specialist, that kind of discussion is off the table.

You agreed that you'd read them when you joined the forum as you do on any forum.

The first thing you do is read the new joiners posts. It's a section in the root of the forum called "New Members" as in most forums.

I can't see you being right for this forum, as already said, this is a private forum purely for support on PCSpecialist systems.

You mean the "accept terms and conditions" clickthrough that no one reads and holds no legal value?
(Either way, no idea where i could access it after the fact). P.S. i joined on the swiss forum.

As for the second part, i did actually place an order for a PCS system. But interesting how you dodged my question by turning on me personally...

Sorry, i missed your reply. Thread doesn't update on mobile, until you refresh the website.

It's fair that this discussion is "off the table", but then I'm not wrong for pointing out that it is not in the best interest of the customer.
And that you, as mods, enforcing this rule act in the interest of PCS - not to "provide value" to OP.

I didn't dodge your question at all, I and @AgentCooper answered it directly and succinctly.

There's no legal weight to it, it's purely if you want to frequent this forum, the terms and conditions you agree to abide by. If they're not important to you and after warnings you refuse to abide by them, you're membership of the forum will be terminated as you agreed to.

No idea why someone would be here if they wanted to build their own system 🥴
