Are you absolutely set on having a liquid series build? It’s just that for a gaming system you can get equal performance from an AIO cooler at a much lower price and without the associated hassle that comes with water cooling.

But to answer your question, it could be better. The 5950X and 3090 are workstation items and will net you precious little gains. In fact, the 5900X outperforms the 5950X when it comes to gaming.

If you let us know your budget and what monitor you’d be using (make and model or resolution and refresh rate) we’d be able to advise appropriately.

Want to be watercooled preferably as going to be "on show" to show off lol
budget around but close to 4k GBP and monitor is 100 Hz refresh 3440x1440 res
maybe also add games to be playes is Farm Sim , DayZ, Factorio (modded) , Flight Sim I guess very graphic intense games? if this will help you to help me as to whats best?

I’m assuming your monitor is the AOC CU34G2? It’s a lovely monitor (I have the 144Hz version) but the 3090 is wasted on it. I use a 3070 and get high refresh gaming with excellent visuals. Even the 3080 is overkill for it but it’s a much more appropriate pairing, I would highly recommend upgrading your monitor in the near future to 4K 144Hz or 1440p superwide. This is a better balanced system:

If you go ahead with this build make sure you have room for the case. Its a great looking one but its huge.

I originally had the case in my build before I switched to the 011 XL after realising how big the 1000D is.

Mine is a liquid series and its been no hassle so far 8 months in maintenance wise,

An extremely good point!

OP, if you compare the setup of @scarpa1 with that of @Sergiu0588 you can see the difference in sizes between the cases:

That looks like a different room now, I've spray painted the units on the PC desk dark grey, got a new oak worktop as the one in picture above was joined under the PC and it was bugging me out so I got a new thicker (40mm) 3m length, had to cut a bit off but thats made a nice side table I built.
Original worktop has been made into a sort of shelving stand on the right of the TV.

TV is now on the wall and the PS5 has gone black.
