JUST ORDERED, BUYERS REGRET... MAYBE

Hello, just ordered the below spec. I really like it, what do you think.
I may have gone over the top a bit. Just for some gaming (W.O.Ts mainly) and general work.
Also a bit of night sky processing when I get around to it.
I also got a 4k samsung monitor today for £220, only 60hz but 32" cheap as chips.

Are you looking for help (even though the system is ordered, things can still be changed) or are you happy with what you have bought?

It's a good looking system to be honest. Not sure what warranty you went for or what you paid but it looks OK.

If it were me I would change the PSU to something a bit stronger. The 1000w seems to be the only offering above 750w that's actually available so it's swings and roundabouts depending on the costs.

The cooler you don't actually need for the CPU as the TDP is the same as the previous gen, especially for gaming. If you wanted a bit more oomph you would be better getting the h100i RGB platinum. It'll go well with the case and it's a fantastic cooler. It's almost silent too, which the H100X isn't.

One thing also to consider is the storage. The drive you have selected is premium, absolutely great drive. You don't want to use more than 250GB though, to keep it running sweet. With that in mind you would usually want a secondary drive. Fast if you can afford the luxury of better load times, but conventional is absolutely fine to save a bit of dough. The gaming experience is the same regardless, it's purely load times and transfer times.

Thanks Scott, in the end i went for the ssd 2tb samsung, as i already have an NVMe drive at home. I will see if i can swap out the cooler, but the psu i reckon ill keep, nothing available cheers Deano
